News of the World
Worbey and Farrell, fronted by Steven Worbey & Kevin Farrell, are one of the world's most
entertaining and certainly unique piano-comedy double-acts. Formerly known as 'Katzenjammer',
their mix of barbed wit, breathtaking cabaret and musical virtuosity ("you get four hands for
the price of two") has gained them a dedicated following across the world.
WORBEY & FARRELL perform with the Young Musicians symphony Orchestra!
They will be performing their own arrangment of Saint-Saëns Carnival of the Animals with
their very own narration and also Malcolm Arnold's Concerto for Two Pianos, Three hands which
they have carefully arranged for One Piano, Four hands with kind permission from Faber Music
Ltd. The concerto was originally composed for Cyril Smith and Phyllis Sellick (with whom
Steven studied piano) and was first performed at the proms in 1969.
